I was Working in Bangkok to trouble shoot their cellular telephone network.
A sight seeing tour you can not pass up is the Grand Palace, a series of shrines and the King's Palace itself.
I had one day to run around and see the sights. One of the engineers I worked with recommended that I go to the Weekend Market to buy souvenirs.

One of the side trips I fell into was taking a Tuk Tuk ride over to see the Standing Buddha.
To see parts of Bangkok you have to take a Canal Trip.
